Professional Development for MBAA Members

The Minnesota Business Aviation Association is proud to offer financial support for professional development exclusively to our members. To help sustain and grow the business aviation industry in Minnesota, the MBAA will offer a scholarship to current members seeking additional training opportunities through events, conferences, and professional development sessions offered by the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA).

This scholarship will be awarded in the amount of $2,500 to help with the cost of registration and travel expenses for this year’s NBAA Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (BACE) in Las Vegas, Nevada, October 14-16, 2025.

Successful applicants should meet the following requirements:

-Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen

-Applicants must be an active MBAA member (eligible categories include individual, associate, affiliate, and corporate membership levels)

-Applicants must have been working in the business aviation industry in Minnesota, with 2+ years of experience

By applying, you confirm that your employer is not funding your registration, travel, or related expenses. This ensures the opportunity goes to those who would not otherwise be able to attend. To be considered, applicants must submit the following information:

o Cover letter

o A Letter of Recommendation from a relevant, professional contact

o Copy of applicant’s current resume.

o Short essay describing your involvement in business aviation and how attending your desired event will benefit your career path.

Applicants will need to complete an interview with a representative of MBAA

Previous recipients may be eligible for repeat scholarships at the committee’s discretion.
