Professional Development for MBAA Members

The Minnesota Business Aviation Association is proud to offer financial support for professional development exclusively to our members. To help sustain and grow the business aviation industry in Minnesota, the MBAA will offer a scholarship to current members seeking additional training opportunities through events, conferences, and professional development sessions offered by the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA).

Apply today to attend the NBAA's 2026 SDC!

This scholarship will be awarded in the amount of $3,000 to help with the cost of registration and travel expenses for one member to attend NBAA Schedulers and Dispatchers Conference, March 24 - 26, 2026 in Cleveland, Ohio. 

Successful applicants should meet the following requirements:

- Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen

- Applicants must be an active MBAA member (eligible categories include individual, associate, affiliate, and corporate membership levels)

- Applicants must have been working in the business aviation industry in Minnesota, with 2+ years of experience; working in or aspiring to be in the field of scheduling and/or dispatching.

This scholarship is intended for business aviation professionals whose companies are not already covering their attendance of NBAA SDC2026. By applying, you confirm that your employer is not funding your registration, travel, or related expenses. This ensures the opportunity goes to those who would not otherwise be able to attend. To be considered, applicants must submit the following information:

o Copy of applicant’s current resume.

o Short essay (~500 words) describing your involvement in business aviation and how attending this event will benefit your career path as a scheduler / dispatcher. 

Applicants will need to complete an interview with a representative of MBAA.

Previous recipients may be eligible for repeat scholarships at the committee’s discretion.
